Transaction Fees
All transactions on Aureon come with a transparent fee of 4.9% + 40¢ - applied to the entire transaction amount. Aureon is built on top of Stripe Connect. We cover the underlying standard processing fees from our margin. However, because we provide a high-level infrastructure that handles global billing, additional fees from credit card networks and PSPs for specific transaction types are passed on to ensure the sustainability of the platform.Additional Fees

Refunds
You can issue both full or partial refunds to your customers directly via the Aureon dashboard. However, please note that the initial transaction fees are not refunded to you. This is because credit card networks and PSPs retain these fees regardless of whether a refund is issued later. Aureon reserves the right to issue refunds at our discretion (typically within 60 days) if we identify high-risk patterns. This proactive measure is designed to protect your account from formal disputes and chargebacks, which carry much higher financial penalties.Dispute/Chargeback Fees
A customer may open a dispute/chargeback via their bank. Each dispute costs $15, which is deducted from your balance immediately, regardless of the eventual outcome. This fee is mandated by the underlying credit card networks and is non-refundable. We continuously work to proactively reduce chargeback rates across the Aureon infrastructure to stay below industry thresholds. Credit card networks monitor sellers with high chargeback rates (typically above 0.7%). As your infrastructure partner, we monitor these metrics closely. We may intervene or suspend accounts that fail to maintain acceptable industry standards to protect the integrity of our payment ecosystem.Payout Fees
Aureon does not add any markup or hidden costs to your payouts. Payout fees are charged directly by our provider (Stripe), and Aureon does not profit from them. We offer manual withdrawals, giving you full control over when you receive your funds. Note: If a balance remains unwithdrawn for several months, we may trigger an automated payout to comply with financial regulations. Standard Payout Fees (Stripe)- $2 per month of active payout activity.
- 0.25% + $0.25 per payout volume.
- Cross-border fees (Currency conversion): 0.25% (within EU) to 1% (other countries).
